Well, Orpheus _does_ explicitly say that its ghosts exist on this side of the Shroud - there's talk of "ghost quakes", a phenomenon which Orpheus hasn't figured out yet, but which are manifestations of the Maelstrom agitating the Shroud and occasionally pushing things through to our side. And the ghosts _do_ have to worry about their "dark sides" rising up and biting them, much like wraiths do (incidently, none of the other character types, neither the projectors nor the hues, have this problem; but they each have their own compensating drawbacks). But Stygian politics are nowhere to be seen in any shape or form; so it depends largely on what it was about Wraith that you liked as to whether or not Orpheus works well with it.
