On topic--the reviwer totally missed the boat on AGoT. He talks about how Martin wants us to think certain people are, but then he can justify their actions. This is entirely the POINT!
I've read Hamilton before, but her books are like popcorn. Clancy is the same. Martin is no Twain or Hemmingway, but he has far more substance than most any other fantasy author out there.
