I don't think that extended campaigns work for scifi. Then again, one-shots don't really work as well for fantasy either. I don't really get to play as much as I like, so since scifi works better for the few & far between... I played alot of Shadowrun back in the 2nd ed days. Lately it's just been various flavors of GURPS.

I like my games dark -- think *Alien*. If this game is what the reviewer says it is, I might like it... but then again fantasy just doesn't work without a campaign... and my irregular group just doesn't get it together often enough... sigh...

I'm reading character creation for Midian now, so far so good.
