In what way do you see these examples as inaccurate? Sword and Shield Combat vs. Fast talk is just another version of 'Oscar vs the Great Troll', one of the earliest and most accepted examples of the versatility of the syatem. Lighning bolts being parried by Greatsword, which I commented would incur a high penalty, sounds entirely reasonable to me (at that penalty), and I have allowed it in play.

So, what makes them inaccurate? Or are you just being unreasonable perhaps?
