Since all extended contests are about 'playing with APs' you seem to imply that all extended contests are ignoring the roleplaying situation. I disagree completely. I think extended contests are very much part of roleplaying in HeroQuest.

I'm realy not sure what the problem is. You agree that Feats can be used in an extended contest the same as any other ability. I agree that Feats can be used for unrelated actions, just as any other ability can.
