I guess I just wanted some more meat. I mean, <i>Dark*Matter</i> gave the GM a lot of leeway in decided how the various conspiracies "really worked" wihtout skimpinig on lots of useful details (and not getting too specific about any particular place, a la <i>Freedom City</i>).
And even though they were faily vague about Shadow, they still kinda pulled some boners.

I mean, they keep everything real vague, except the strict rule that once creatures come through Shadow, they can never go back, thereby eliminating a lot of interesting possibilties... and then in the sample adventure there's, you guessed it, a Big Bad that, golly, *is* able to go back through Shadow. They didn't even stick to the guidelines they gave in their own product!
I guess it just all boils down to the fact that either approach is valid, but this product simply needs work.
