It's a professional jealousy thing. I'd like to be a writer but don't really work for it, spending my time with the easy option that is writing scenarios and GMing.

SteveD on the other hand writes a lot and is pretty f******g darn good at it now - you should have seen his old stuff - Ph'narr - damn I hope nobody noticed me snort.

Of course, he is annoyed at how ridculously easy I find GMing, at least he'd better have the good graces to be. But who wins in the talent competition, the suave and mysterious writer, or the geeky GM with the slogan t-shirt? And he's young too! He's got it all before him.
