Well, fewer than a third of generic systems may not have rules for raising the dead but let's face it, the most played roleplaying system in the history of gaming (do I need to name names) does. You probably don't play the system, and that's fine, but most of us who are looking at generic systems are doing so because we feel that $70.00 for a rulebook is outrageous and are looking for viable alternatives. I don't think he was nit-picking. I think he knows his audiance.
