I just wanted to post this note to let readers know that, by the end of 2003, Risus: The Anything RPG will no longer be freeware, but rather a shareware RPG with a 97 year* trial period. If, after 97 years, you decide not to pay the registration fee, you must delete Risus: The Anything RPG from your hard drive.

In 97 years I expect the technology to advance where I can simply click on something and anyone who hasn't registered will be distintegrated.

Those who do register will get a copy of the Risus Companion, currently in the final stages of completion ... A collection of articles on every aspect of Risus, culled from my decade-and-change of experience GMing it, and from several years of fan feedback. The Risus Companion also includes the invaluable art guide: How to Draw Stick Figures, the Risus Way.

Anyone who thinks I'm kidding doesn't know me.
