I would say, no. The Age of Mortals has a much higher focus on role playing material. It seems to me that a part of this book was to update a lot of the classic stuff in the DL setting to the 3.5 rules and it has a ton of PrCs, Spells, Monsters, and a few core classes, magic items, and feats, not to mention two adventurers.
