Not a good review

This has already been mentioned by a few people, but i felt obliged to do so myself:

This isn't that good a review.

Personally i haven't read Orpheus (even seen the book), i don't know if i will buy it, or if i will consider what i read in it good or if it will picque my interest enough to actually play it (2 different things).

BUT after reading this review the impession it gave me in particular was that the reviewer from the start set out -not- to like the game.

So, is it any wonder that he ended not liking the book, when he didn't intend to like it, didn't want to like it?
(For his various reasons, most of them already mentioned in the below threads.)

And how is it possible to write a "good" (however you characterize it) review if you come so biased to the subject, consiously or unconsioucly?

And why do i seem to be taking this personally? Because bad reviews just get to my nerve. I don't have any problem with negative reviews as far as they are good reviews. But this one, unfortunately does not fall in this category, but in the "from the start i knew i wouldn't like the game, but still i read it, and reviewed it, trying as hard as i could to find any negative point, as minor as it may be, or things i personally don't like in a game, or even worse, focusing in just the bad things, without any mention of any redeeming quality, to cover my pre-destined dislike of the book with my arguments, and "arguments" " kind of review.
