I don't think that's the case here. I own both Heavy Gear and The Jovian Chronicles and they both seemed solidly written, with some typos but very few real grammar editing mistakes. Whereas Mechanical Dream (a French industrial fantasy game) has HOWLING grammatical errors mostly stemming from the differing language structures of English and French, though admittedly it was translated from the original French publication rather than being written in English in the first place.
