Most folks here in Montreal are at least *somewhat* bilingual in French and English both, meaning that they can carry on a decent conversation in either language.

From what I know, the staff of Dream Pod 9 definitely does have native English speakers, though. Not only are there a huge number in Montreal (in spite of 30+ years of separatist agitation, the anglophone population of the city is still larger than the total population of Canada's smaller provinces), but McGill University in downtown Montreal attracts students from all over the country (and the US, even!), and Dream Pod 9 has been known to hire them (Hilary Doda being a prime example). And of course, I'm pretty sure they draw their writers from all over North America. So the language thing really shouldn't be that much of an issue.

And yeah, I think I deserve extra character points for the 'flaw' Canadian! 8^D
