Player's Guide (includes exhaustive new options for creating characters, including cyberware, animal hybrids, a treasure trove for this game)

Thanks that was my first published work. (Well second actually) but I really put a lot of work into this one on a very tight deadline.

Here's an interesting story. Nigel Findley (whom I regard as my mentor and friend may he rest in peace) showed me the blue lines for the main book and was turning his nose up at White Wolf asking him to submit proposals for supplements. I asked to give it a crack and he said sure and WW liked my proposal enough to give me a contract. Problem was that they wanted first draft in 32 days. My first book took 5 months and was only 25,000 words so I wasn't sure I could do it.

I did some soul searching and having a beer with Nigel I told him I didn;t think I could do it what with my full time job, the research involved and the amount of words needed (I think it was 70,000+ words). He told me he thought I could and that my writing (but not spelling ) was good enough for the task. His support really did it for me and I think the book speaks for itself. Not the most rigerously playtested but there was no time for that.

God I miss Nigel.

Contenders (A book packed with great fully fleshed out NPC's that a GM can throw right into games, plus a couple new options)

Some of the fighters in this book are very, very bizarre and I really didn't like it too much, even though it has a few of my own contributions.

I can proudly say I own the complete collection, this game is fantastic. If you're a big street fighter ....

You and me both!
