A magic pusher is someone who may have unimpressive magical abilities, but who posseses the supernatural ability to give anyone, Witch or not, a Sorcerous power boost that happens to be extremely addictive. And, if the boosted individual loses control of herself as a result of the boost, the pusher gains control of all her powers. (I may not have that exactly right, since I don't have my book with me.)
