Yeah, but going on a rant there, while still silly over a game, would at least have a basis in reality. What makes this doubly absurd is he's getting ranty over something people rather bluntly pointed out isn't true in the biblical sources he claims to be citing. To use your L5R analogy, it would be the equivalent of you going on a rant about how stupid the game was because the designers ignore that shinto was invented by female lesbian ninjas.
