If so, then it meets DS's criteria for comparison to Wheel of Time, since it was originally planned for 4 books (_A Game of Thrones_, _A Clash of Kings_, _A Dance with Dragons_, and _The Winds of Winter_ according to Martin in 1998's _Legends_), and was upped to 5 last I heard.
