I'm a little confused here. You mentioned at the outset that this was a bad product:
"Crusade of Ashes takes on the story's metaplot head-on, and looses, in a big time way."
And:
"[Crusade of Ashes] levels the playing field, in a bad way. Really bad."
But don't actually tell us why...
What is it that makes this such a bad book?
