I see GWd20 sort of being like what M&M would have been if they'd left out detailed rules for superpowers and just stated, "Hey, there are lots of magic powers in the D&D books you can steal for ideas." That would have been just as insulting, and just as much a waste of money. (And it was: it was called <i>The Foundation</i> and has the dubious honor of being the all-time lowest-rated product over at ENWorld.)
