I note how cleverly you avoid discussing the actual flaws of GWd20.

So, then, folks are mad because Gamma World didn't do what Urban Arcana did, reprint a whole bunch of the same old stats and charge us money for them? Thanks but no thanks! That's a big part of why I don't see myself ever buying that book, even if I should get into a UA campaign!
------------------------------
Gnolls ain't Vargr which ain't mutated dogs. The cultural development is probably different which should be reflected in the write up of the mutated dogs. Yes, I could sit down and write all that up but with all the work I seem to be expected to do to flesh out GWd20 I could probably have written the complete game by myself. What exactly does GWd20 bring to the table for its cost?
I could go to a restaurant and order a steak. The restaurant could provide me with bread and salad and a lifetime supply of styrofoam and you appear to think I should be happy with that since I can always go to a grocery store and pick up a steak and cook it myself. I ordered steak; the restaurant had better give me steak. I ordered Gamma World; the authors had better give me Gamma World not some sketchy notes scattered over 250 pages of filler.
