Man, that sounds just like D&D 3E! You have to calculate d20 + Attack Bonus and compare it to the other player's AC. Wow, three numbers and pretty much the same math.

D20 stole a lot of ideas from Role Master. Monte Cook worked for ICE before working for WOTC. When I first saw d20 I thought, someone finally turned MERP into a d20 rather than d100 system.
