If I'm not mistaken it's the same as the Red Dwarf System, which means it's a simple 2d6 roll under based system, where stat and skill are point based and only allowed to go so high (to facilitate the low roll variance) the damage system is kind of a light white wolf system based on damage levels which give negative penalties to the wounded. pretty basic, but definitely workable. I'd say take a look at Red Dwarf in your FLGS to see how the system works.
