There are plenty of good supers games already out there, I won't deny it. :-) 1PGs don't even try to compete with the bigger, beefier titles in their respective genres. They focus on providing very generalized content with a very short learning curve very inexpensively. There are times when I feel like I want to play a beefier game with a more robust system, and there are times when I just want to sit down and play a movie with my friends for a couple hours and throw the character away when it's over. 1PGs are intended for the latter (although some folks demanded campaign and miniatures rules, hence the 1PG Companion).

Heck, I didn't even consider doing a supers 1PG for a long time because I never thought the system would hold up, until Mark proved otherwise. :-)
