What I was trying to say, maybe not too well, sometimes it doesn't have to be simple to be enjoyable. If it doesn't suit you thats fine; like you, I was just expressing my opinion that I think some people like to have a different system, even if it is more complex than you, or even maybe i, like.
Some systems are unwieldy. I enjoy playing Harn for example, but it isn't especially quick
My comment about the current propensity for all things D20 was following on from Vibropod's comment, more than yours.
