Hi Arcady:

When we came up with the idea to have Redhurst teleport into settings owned by other companies, we contacted each of them and asked for their help. In each case, they suggested a location in their world they thought was appropriate. After writing each section in that part of the book, we sent the pieces off to the original owners for approval.

In the case of Kalamar, for instance, the guys at Kenzer suggested Geanavue and sent us a copy of the book, along with the artwork from the cover. Then they approved the bit that we wrote about Redhurst and Geanavue. You can't get any more official than that. If you read the actual piece, I think you'll find it jibes well.
