So why the "Mature" label? You don't need to keep "cartoonish and light" content for adults only. IMHO, WotC wanted it both ways--they wanted the cachet of a "mature" product, dealing with real evil, but not the actual content that would entail, nor the repurcussions of such a thing. So they pretend it's mature, market it and label it as such, and then have it full of cartoon villainy.
