Shame about the spells, they really added a feel to the place. In fact it is the flavour that makes the Sorcery series - truly different creatures (redeyes, sightmasters, jib-jibs and flayers) not just your standard orcs and elves, exotic sounding names, a vibrant citystate etc.

What are the pictures/maps like? Copies from the gamebook or new. The gamebook had some wonderfully bizzare drawings (though fewer in the Shamutanti Hills I recall).

Actually, a pleasant thought - when Kharé comes out we might finally get a map of the place! Take that Blacksand fans!
