I don't remember the last time a game took me 4 hours.

My two main opponents, coworker and wife, and I play much faster than that. My coworker and I finish a game in 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hrs, and my wife and I are around 2.

Even a four player game hasn't cracked 4 hours.

I know it helps that we have the majority of the cities and loads memorized but we always have the sheets available.

We even do some optional rules to slow the game down. Against my wife I'm handicapped with $40 to her $50 and a speed 6 train that I need to upgrade to the original. With my coworker we start with $30 and speed 6.
