I would agree that the historical restrictions of armour might not be as terrible as thought (60 lbs evenly distributed is much better then a 60 pound backpack), but it was still incredibly restrictive as compared to not wearing any armor. I defy you to do acrobatics while wearing full plate.

It is just a matter ofsome realism in a game. Heck just ignore the rule and press on, I am sure it will not be very fair to players who do not weap armor though.
