Exactly. On the rare occasion that I use them, it's really just a convenient way for me to have charts in front of me.

For example, when I run Cthulhu, I don't even bother with one, as there's only one chart you ever need (the resistance table) and that's easy enough to figure out in my head most of the time.

But for D&D or something similar... whew! I need those tables where I can see them!
