Could anyone please justify the statement "Glorantha is becoming more generic"?

Please, how was RQ specific in a way HQ is not?

While I don't agree it is becoming more generic, I can see where the argument comes from. RQ was set firmly in Prax, with plenty of fan support, and a couple of official works, in Dragon Pass, plus a couple other excursions into Dorastor, Balazar and Dakori Inkarth. Quite a wide area, but quite a limited spread of social/technological differences. RQ Glorantha, to all those outside the Gloranthan core community, was a Romano-Celtic setting with those wierd Praxians off on one side, and the stone-age Balazarings at the north.

HeroQuest has opened up the rest of Glorantha (well, primarily Genertela so far), always known to exist to those within the core community, always sketched in to some extent. And with this opening came the medieval west, the oriental east, the Lunar Empire isn't Roman anymore, it's all sorts, we've got Egypto-Incans down south. The old identity has been lost amongst the expansion. There's virtualy every RPG fantasy setting in there now, albeit all with the usual Gloranthan twist.
