For the unitiated, Page 5 of the Prime Rulebook has the Privateer guy's philosophy for WarMachine play. It's written tongue in cheek but it basically says that playing this game centers on taking risks and playing offensively.

It's not a game for little old lady-style, turtling (plodding along and making the other guy come to you, in other words). It's a neat little philosophy but the Privateer Press guys have also said that it's not an excuse to be obnoxious, rude or a poor sport.
