The Stingy edition can be produced from the already completed non-Stingy version. To create a book from scratch of such quality and breadth would probably not be profit-producing.

I think that the RPG industry should (and probably will) benefit from a certain level of de-commercialization... slightly lower production values in return for a wider variety of content. Something of a return to the "pamphlet" era, but with better tools.

In the meantime, we reap the benefits of folks like Guardians of Order who are not just looking at their quarterlies, but their fans.
