look at the french RPG "Reve de Dragon",

In this FRP, the wolrd is a "Dragon's dream",
and magic-users are people able to alter
the dream. To cast a spell, you need to
journey into a dream-like world, where you
may encounter strange and dangerous creatures,
and come back with funny or horrible compulsive behaviour.
The system is a bit technical, though.
