I think they could have done the layout/graphics better. It's good, but there is room for improvement.

1. The book is clearly broken up in pretty big natural chapters. The border could have been used to show these chapters, now instead its the same border in the whole book. F.e. the Sorcery chapter could have been with Mystic characters, books, effects etc. And the combat chapter could have been swords, axes, soldiers etc.

2. There is to few illustrations in the big rules part of the book. A book that is fullcolour should use it with many fullcolour illustrations throughout the book. In one area thera are as many as 15 pages without illustrations, and many other long passages without them. I had expected more with this price.

3. The text headers are to similar. One is centrered and slightly bigger than the leftmargin on. The should have gone with more distint headers, or even made a small graphic on the larger one. F.e. page 258-259, there are three large headers, and three smaller, but the three bigger doesn't immediately distinct themselves.

4. The quotes are hard to read. Tight graphic font on graphic background.

5. The blood on all the weapons wasn't that great idea, looks very repetetive.



Now it sounds like I'm very displeased, but I really like the game (contents) and are satisfied with the style. But for the price I had slightly higher expectations. (Btw, if you complain about the price, here in Sweden it costs almost 500:- which directly converted to dollars is $68)
