Oh - and the other masterpiece of presentation I've been looking at lately is "the Book of Knights" from King Arthur Pendragon (Green Knight Publishing). The full Pendragon book is hundreds of pages long and (while beautifully written and a wonderful system) not very practical in how it's presented. But the "Book of Knights" is 48 pages long, incredibly clear and easy-to-read and refer to, and pretty much contains all the main mechanics and char-gen system. Amazing. It's very cheap and can be ordered from Amazon - again, I recommend taking a look at that for ideas on how to present rule systems.
