Well, yes, you can find it for cheaper than $50 by shopping around, but other books that start out less expensive likely will end up cheaper still by the same smart shopping.
Not having read my copy yet, I can't say whether I agree with these low ratings; however, I certainly can agree with them in principle. The higher the cost, the higher the standard.
