I thought the review was quite good - informative and balanced. He *liked* the game, did you miss that?

He had a few complaints, and it's been said earlier that for the amount Mongoose charges for their games, it should have been a bit closer to perfect! I can't fault that. Mongoose *do* charge highly for their games, and the always make sure they leave something out so you need to purchase the next in the series. Conan, Judge Dredd and Slaine all leave out the stats for the main characters, so if you're curious or you need them (and want the official version), you need to buy the next $50 book....

I don't have the Conan RPG. I've read a lot of the stories, and so far, I've run them with Riddle of Steel, Pendragon and RuneQuest (although not TSR's Conan - ugh!). After reading this review, I think I'll go pick up a copy.
