Hmmm... I really don't know much about IP law, but I'm not sure you can copyright a table of numbers which basically says that in order to get from level N to N+1 you need 1000*N XP...

IIRC in the OGL Conan game from Mongoose, the XP table is the same as the one in the PHB.
