Since you obviously don't have the slightest idea about the Western Martial Arts Community, I would recommend you refrain from such recommendations. While there are disagreements in some interpretations, they are WAY below TROS's level of graininess. Disagreements in many cases are also focused on the PERSON of John Clements, not on ARMA in general (and when they are, that's frequently because JC is a red cape for some bulls out there, and anything associated with him is automatically as well)

As such, the fact that some things John Clements does are being criticised by others has NO impact whatsoever when discussing TROS's claim to realism, unless, for example, you find me the rule in the book where a difference is made between parrying with the edge or parrying with the flat of a blade.

As for your 'current views on combat decision points', I would recommend actually reading a "Fechtbuch" before smearing people who have.
