Oliver,

No, for warrior types it is very reasonable to assume that WIT will be higher than PER....and Reflex as well. Why?

Because WIT gives you REFLEX while PER gives aim....and since melee combat is less forgiving than missile combat, you need WIT.

Furthermore WIT gives more secondary stats than PER.

Finally, PER is reduced by any kind of headcover. WIT is not.

As for toughness, My kid with a stick had a total soak of 12 and that was with no combat pool loss. It is HARD to do much damage through that much soak. This gets even worse if I decide I can drop a few combat pool and get heavy armor. You are not going to get through a SOAK of 14-16 very easily.....which magnifies my point.
