Converted from Phorums BB System
Your post doesn't match my rulebook. Do you have the unrevised edition, maybe? The revised one has the ARMA logo on the back.

You keep incorrectly referring to rules from the book without providing reference. Find me a quote from the book because this statement is incorrect. Page 75: "...may attempt to buy initiative by spending a number of dice equal to his opponent's Perception. A contested roll is then made of the buyer's WP and his opponent's Wit, with both TN's being equal to the other's Reflex. The buyer (and only the buyer) may opt to raise his opponent's TN by one for every extra Combat Die spent, to a maximum of his own Wit."
I get my full WP score in dice, regardless of your PER.

Yes and with a wit of 4 and reflex of 6 that puts your TN at 10. My math is fine there.

Okay. I will continue to do so.

I have stated maybe three times that I don't contest this point. In fact I avidly support the same point in this very topic. The only point I am contesting is that throwing all dice in the first attack is always the best option. It is not. Someone with identical stats can throw initiative and get the advantage.
I'm done with this debate. You are free to make another rebuttle based on your mangling of the rules, but as I've said before there's nothing really new to say in this line.
