Sounds excellent, at least the book will be of *some* use to you. One of the major problems with it is the choice of time it is set in. Far better to have it much earlier (as you are doing - the 'proper' Dark Ages) or a few hundred years later on, at least after the Crusades for example.

BTW did you know that there were plans by some earlier ('Golden Age') CoC writers to produce a 1880s campaign which involved travel back in time to Lyonesse? Some work was definately done on it before Chaosium's big 'slump' occurred.
