Converted from Phorums BB System

Jeez, Buzz, no need to curse. If I pay money for a role-playing game, I want a game, not just a set of rules and formulas. I want some creative thought, rather than an abridged version of a rulebook. Now, Sidekick can be handy if someone's sole purpose is to make a character. I believe a prospective GM should be provided with more tools, whether they may need it or not. Since you seem to believe that you're more experienced in Hero than everyone else, then you may not need such information. I believe it is wrong on the developers part to assume that all buyers of their product are experienced in Hero. Providing some context as to how to use the rules in a game is a big help to new gamers. Especially with a complex system like Hero.

As far as my misconception on Sidekick goes, you're right although I did know what the product was. I got tired of reading the rehash of the rules rather than telling me more about the product itself. As I recall, the reviewer didn't mention the number of pages or what was on the cover. Nor was my criticism about the Hero rules themselves, or of you until you seemed to take any sort of critique on Hero as a personal affront. Ease up, this is just a forum on rpgs, not an inquisition.
