Shoujoish traits- ties and self image

Converted from Phorums BB System
It occurs to me the self-image/ties system from Albedo would be an interesting thing to adapt to a Shoujo game. The basics of the system is that characters in that game have ties and antipathies- to other characters, institutions, or ideals like duty or honor. These ties are related to a characters self-image stat- and how the character feels about himself can strongly impact how he performs.
Why is this appropriate to shoujo games? Well, where shonen games tend to emphasize overposering external obstacles, shoujo games emphasize personal development and will, as well as personal relationships. In series like "Boys Over Flowers" or "His and Her Circumstances" the main theme is to either remain or become true to herself, while developing relationships.
In a game like this, charting the level of a character's self-esteem and personal will would probably be more important that tracking their combnat stats or how much damage they do. As far as applying the stats, I'm an idea man- I'll leave implementation to the game engineers. ;')
