The problem with that kind of system is that it's a little unbalanced. I remember when the Vampire Storyteller's Guide talked about it: nobody says you have to be physically strong to have a character with a high strength, but not offering a die system for social systems penalizes people who aren't good at the social aspect of real life.

As a politician, it's my job to be smooth, but I can definitely see why some people want a social system.

In short: if some people want one, and others don't, it should be included, and you can ignore it if you want to.
