Not everyone links style with art. I imagine Jian was referring to writing style.

Jian did say that it was pretty system independent, so that would suggest that it is compatible, as Tri-Stat dX and BESM are compatible with almost any system independent source material. Also, if you look at the cover it does say "BESM" so you know that it's compatible with BESM/Tri-Stat d6.
Your criticism of this review was worse than the review itself. You should take a look at Philosmous' thread to see how it should be done.
