HSF is a BESM supplement and should therefore be completely compatible with BESM 2e/r. Some tweaking might be required to make it work with Tri-Stat dX, but as I don't have HSF I couldn't say how much, I'm just making a guess based on the comparison of TSdX and BESM/TSd6.

Also, the review stated that it was pretty system independent (and several discussions I've read suggest this as well), and my personal opinion is that any material that is pretty system independent works with BESM.
