Forgive me, I'm not familiar with Alternity... but I thought the idea behind feats was maybe Feng Shui's schtick system.

Then again, I remember seeing something very much like feats (chariot leaping, gae bolga) in the Celtic Handbook from the 2ed era, which predates Feng Shui.
