I haven't seen the product in question, but I seriously doubt it would make any particular difference to anyone who knows how to use a computer. It takes me all of two seconds to click the "Grayscale Printing" option before hitting the Print button.

(And if you're worried about chewing up your color cartridge, you should do that in any case because you'll frequently find programs that use your color cartridge to print black unless you specify the grayscale printing.)
